Bakeoff started last year and was a massive success with celebrity chefs Richard Bainbridge ( Chef-Owner of Benedicts in Norwich. Great British Menu banquet winner 2015, Veteran Judge 2017 & columnist for the EDP) & Charlie Hodson (Owner of Charlie’s Norfolk Food Heroes Chef Winner of #rolloff, Guest Chef @SundayBrunchC4) raising £2500 for Pancreatic cancer UK.
This year Bakeoff will be held every Thursday for 12 weeks starting March 7th – bakes are to be submitted to the pub any time between 12 – 7pm on the day – blind judging of the bakes from 7pm – open to all from beginners to master bakers! You don’t have to be present for judging.
£3 to enter a bake , enter 1 week or as many as you like.
The winner of each week earns a place in the final on June 15th
We have a great family day for the final BBQ, raffle, tombola, celebrity judges & live music with Lee Vann.
Customers are welcomed to be judges, we have 3 each week so get your names down!
Last year’s winner of the Fox Bakeoff, Amie Abbs was invited to bake on stage at the Holkham Christmas food fayre with our head chef Vic Rowling, Charlie Hodson & Hardeep Kholi Singh (celebrity big brother, chef, comedian, reporter).

March 17th 2019 – 5TH YEAR birthday party for The Fox – Children’s entertainer, live music with Kolin Durier & Differential, Broadside Pizza & Dinky Donuts 3 – 8pm
STARTING APRIL 8th and then every Monday until 23rd September.
The pub will be open from 5pm for drinks and street food in the garden 5 – 8pm.
With live music on Bank Holidays.
July 14th – Join us at the ‘after Fling’ from 4pm with a garden party – live music with Danny James, BBQ.
Tuesday – Friday, enjoy a 2-course lunch for just £10. Available 12 – 2pm. (Regular menu also available). *NOT available during December.
Tuesdays are STEAK NIGHT – 2 FOR £20, from 6pm.
